Terranea Resort Maternity Photography : { Annie + Jay }

I met Annie through my husband few years back.  It was so nice to see her again and meet her husband, Jay.  Annie and Jay are from Taiwan, just like me.  While I speak English most of time on the daily bases (except for talking to my son), it was quite nice to be able to speak Mandarin with Annie and Jay.  By the time I post these images, Annie had delivered a beautiful baby boy a couple of months ago and there will be some cute newborn pictures on the blog very soon.   

Annie and Jay decided to have their maternity photos taken at the Terranea Resort.  It's such a beautiful place with hiking trail and ocean view.  Here are some highlights of the day:

And they brought their sweet doggie "baby" (Yes that's his name!) along to the photo shoot.  I love it when clients bring their pets to the shoot, after all, pet = family member.

H Family {Orange County Lifestyle Family Photography}

{2014 Holiday Season}  This was the 2nd time I photographed the H family.  I've known Eric and Stephanie for many years, Eric and my husband grew up together playing soccer and have been good friends since their childhood.  It's always so nice to see them and their cute kids.  I had so much fun with them  and I love the matching Converses.  Here are some of my favorites of the day:

Miss C & Miss C {Los Angeles Children Photography}

I met Miss C & Miss C 6 months ago for their "Goodbye California" photo shoot.  These two cute sisters and their family were moving out of the state and wanted to take some memories of their time in CA with them.  We did this session in a GORGEOUS house (probably the most beautiful home I've been to) and I had a lot of fun with these cute little girls. :-)

Miss A - 1 Month New {Orange County Baby Photography}

Miss A is my dear friend Tiffany's little girl.  Tiffany and I have been good friends since high school, it was so nice to be able to witness the birth of her little girl and photograph this sweet baby. :-)

Recently...

It's been a while since I posted last time.  So...what have I been doing recently?  Well the photo business has been put down for a while and life for me right now is just hanging out with my baby everyday and I'm loving it.  We read books, practice alphabets and numbers, do puzzles, play with toys,  shoot baskets, sing, dance, go to the library for story time...so much fun!  

Since I'm home most of time, I now have housewife duties which I'm "trying" to fulfill.  Why am I saying "trying" here?  Because that's what I'm doing.  I have to admit that I'm not the best at getting the house organized even though I'd love to.  I searched online and went on pinterest to get some help and man! there's a lot of things I need to do.  I'm learning, and trying.

In the end of January we took a trip to Taiwan to visit my family.  It was Jojo's 1st time to Taiwan and we had a great time.  It was during Chinese New Year so I got see many of my relatives and that was awesome.  I also got to hang out with many of my best friends that I grew up with (they're the best!!!).  After we got back I decided to start a blog (written in Chinese) to share my life in SoCal with my family & friends in Taiwan.  Check it out HERE.  I'm not very good at writing but I try ;-)

With all that I really miss taking pictures, especially photographing weddings.  I haven't been doing weddings since I was pregnant with Jojo due to health reasons (except for 2nd shooting).   Brian and I attended one of his best friends' wedding last week, it was beautiful and very touching in every way.  And it really made me want to shoot weddings again.  I love the loving atmosphere and beautiful wedding details,  and everyone is full of joy.  It just makes me very happy.
